I will be there driving the "Plastic Fantastic" Nitro Funnycar of Danny Miller. Chi Town Brown and I will be the guys resting in the hammocks while everybody else is flogging the car.
I read today there might be 31-funnys already committed to running the event. Like Mike said,,,it will be a huge event for the 50th annual March Meet.

Two others and myself will probably be there on Wed. They like to get a good space for the bus. We are split in three directions. I'll be with Patterson, Carl will probably help Brennan and Mike will be with Shoemaker. Being in the Patterson camp has a bunch of perks including a great breakfast and tri-tip dinners.

Unfortunately, for a lot of us, NHRA has scheduled the second Lucas Oil Drag Race Series race at Tucson on Friday and Saturday!
You can't get out on Saturday night, so flying to anywhere near Bakersfield for Sunday will be a challange.

I'll have the Hot Rods by Stith trailer there on vendor row, everyone is more than welcome to use the area for a meeting spot. Or at least stop by to say hello. The ice chest is always full and the door is always open.

I believe they have said that it is a 2-8/car fields. I haven't heard that from Blake yet, but it seems to be already decided on. I have one of those disposable video cameras. However, I am not sure I will be allowed to tape the runs from the cockpit,,,,it could be used against me as blackmail showing the AA/FA guy in a cave!
