Never been to that drag strip but glad to see it was saved. Who better to run a drag strip than a drag racer?

If you like trees and a scenic views, Maple Grove is the place to go! Oh and I forgot Shady Maple smorgasbord too.

That is awesome, a huge thank to Kenny and the entire Koretsky family for stepping up and keeping Maple Grove alive. One of these days I want to go to the race there and then drive to Pittsburgh because I have family there along with going to a Steelers and Pirates game.

This is such huge news! I would also like to say thanks to the Koretsky's for making this move. Maple Grove is a track that is hugely important to the sport. For anybody who has never been, you owe it to yourself to attend a race there. It has it's own unique "vibe", and if you go there once you'll want to go back.

I remember reading about Maple Grove in Drag News. Some guy named Garlits was running there......
I remember him! He had that funny looking dragster with the engine behind the driver and the front end looked like a duckbill platypus.
Whatever happened to him? Is he still around?

Especially on Sunday, The hill behind the starting line, The Amish people park up there to watch.

Maple Grove will certainly never be the same with the Koretsky's running it! Attended once and finals got carried over to Monday. Saw V Gaines last win and Frank Manzo's 100th win. That was a great Monday! Am going to try to go next year.

Being good at drag racing doesn't mean that same person would have any idea how to run a successful drag strip.

Don't know much about Koretsky outside of drag racing, but he seems to be a successful businessman so hopefully he has done his due diligence and believes he can make the facility at least marginally profitable on a year-round basis.

If anyone knows how to run a dragstrip as a successful business, it's Koretsky. I don't know if he still is, but about 10-12 years ago he was one of the largest landowners in Pennsylvania,
