Joe, If you come this October bring your jacket. The couple of times I was there when the race was postponed to October, the conditions were national record conditions. I am making my first trip back to Maple Grove since I moved away 5 years ago, hopefully the weather cooperates.

Joe! Paul is correct, one year when the race was postponed due to rain, pushed back into October, it was so cold, that our gang was dressed in snow mobile suits, just so we could sit in the stands. You could buy a coffee and the steam would be gone by the time you walked back up into the stands. But the great point, was the racing was great. That was many years ago, before the count down stuff.
