LVMS Pre-Season Testing

Much to my surprise (and delight) LVMS will have a test session the week before Pomona. The event will run in conjunction with a PSCA race. It is also being advertised as a "Nitro Blast Off" so hopefully some teams show up.

Bob Tasca is confirmed for the Vegas test ... so there will be at least 1 nitro burner there!!! Hopefully he makes hits on Saturday and Sunday and doesn't wait until Monday and Tuesday as has been the recent trend for nitro testing at LVMS.

Does NHRA still have the testing rule? If so what is the ruling?

Teams can test all they want until the season starts, then only 4 days of testing allowed throughout the season.

You lose! LOL I will be at the LODRS event in Phoenix that weekend. I will be in Vegas Monday and Tuesday for testing. And I don't know for sure but I don't think Tucci will be there either. To my knowledge he only does the SCSN event at the end of the year. But don't worry, LVMS has maybe the best track announcer in the nation, and Nathan will take good care of you.

PSCA Race cancelled this weekend due to predicted weather ... NHRA testing to carry on as normal however. It is supposed to rain tomorrow and Friday with highs only in the 50s after the weather front moves through. It sucks, because the weather has been beautiful for the past 10 days or so ...
