Any word on when this will be up and running?
The Bandimere family has that on thier website, and it's really cool, and seems to work flawlessly. When the Quick 16 & Jr. Dragsters run through there one right after another, it's pretty impressive how fast whoever they have typing in the names & data can get everything posted. There is not much pause between runs.
Assume it's coming right out of the timing system, which already has the names/numbers of all the entered cars/drivers. They don't have to type bupkis in real time
Live timing isn't an NHRA provided function or tool. It is technology developed and sold to individual tracks by Sagera. If the track hasn't bought and installed the software and hardware, there won't be live timing available for any events at that track.

All I know is what I wrote, Jim.Sooo . . . Firebird had the technology installed and operating through the track's website for the recent divisional race and it was fantastic. If this much maligned track can invest in this and make it work, what is the problem with NHRA. Are they waiting for the track owners to pony up?
I forget, who owns Gainesville ?

ama dragbike is in there second year w/ live timing and their budget is my guess 10% of the nhra's
