Anybody out there remember the company that Lee Beard was with that was making fuel engine parts out of space age materials. If so is h still with them,? did anybody try there stuff ?

alan, are you privy as to who in the racing and/or automotive industries is using these high-end AWA parts?
seem to remember lee CCing' for whit back in the day, and came out with the first set of smaller spill plates on rear deck of FC too? am i remembering right?

I don't know anybody that is. That doesn't mean it's not happening, just that I'm not aware of it.

Depending on the class and part, much of it would not be legal. There are numerous rules about "Exotic Materials" in certain areas. Just as a for instance, Pro Stock has a minimum weight for connecting rods, and the composite rods would be too light.

Do pro stock cars go to the tear down barn at Indy? Has a KB Titan or Elite engine EVER been torn down like the stock eliminator guys?
