[coverattach=1]Krenik brings his Championship Pro Mod to Albuquerque Dragstrip for testing and Fun!
Corrales, New Mexico, July 14, 2009 – After a Big Win in Kansas City, Greg Krenik needed to make some chassis adjustments plus he needed ‘seat time’. Robert Costa at Albuquerque Dragway, welcomed the ABQ local to come in for the Motorcycle Mania Event on Saturday July 18th at 6:00 pm.
“Finally, a chance for our local sponsors and friends to come out to the Dragstrip and see us run. We travel all over the country and it’s such an effort for Albuquerque friends to come and see the bike and how it performs. The altitude will certainly make it impossible to break any records...but, more than anything, we need to see how the current changes I’ve made on the bike will help us run a bit straighter. (I had that problem of the bike wanting to make a right turn as soon as I left the line.) We’re also trying something new to keep the wheel from spinning on the tire when I launch.” said Greg. “We’re going to try and get four to five passes in, I guess it will depend on the number of bikes that are there.” he added.
Their next event is August 22 & 23 at Woodburn Dragstrip in Oregon, that event is at sea level and a fun track…so this weekend they have to practice, practice, practice…whenever they can.
