Jeff Diehl

Does anybody know if he'll be able to rebound? Hate to see him go out like that.

He is working on putting the car back together as we speak!! They will be back, just how long will depend on what he can do himself vs. if he has to have others do it. But be sure, Ideal racing is NOT done.

hey guys!

i was just alerted to this thread. thank you so much for the kind words & well wishes. means alot.

going thru some rough runs with the car right now...but we'll get it figured out.

Jeff is ok, a little sore, but fine. the car on the other hand...needs some love...being repaired as we speak. soooo, wish us luck on getting it going again soooon!

Glad to hear you're working on getting it back together. :) BTW, what happened to the FB page?

I saw the body sitting out in front of the pit after the incident.
Man it was not pretty.

Best of luck getting things back into shape.

In Jeff's topend interview he said, "I'm Done, I have to go home"... with clear emotion, I thought it was the most poignant moment of the entire broadcast!!

When you see someone want it that bad...very easy to root for, hope he's back soon!

Looks like they are getting it put back together pretty quickly. They are entered for Norwalk. Good for them. Jeff and Leeza are good people. Met them at Milan and Martin back in the IHRA days

I can't speak for the Diehl's, but most of the independent teams out there get several parts and pieces at bargain rates from the Funded teams! I'm sure Jeff has had some teams offer to help him out.

I saw that, it sounded like he was about to cry. :(

I hope Jeff does well in Bristol, would be awesome to see him go rounds.

I always root for the independent teams, they are more like what drag racing used to be like back in the day. Too much money needed these days.

Perhaps if there were some say nice shirts and swag listed to buy on a website it might help the old 'pocketbook' (HINT) Leeza. You know like a really Big Diehl it could be.

Market the crap out of the poor boy doing battle with the titans Jeff vs. Goliath.

Hope it gets out thsi week and hope it goes rounds. Just break thier backs by qualifying and showing up every damn week and smile your ass off. :D

I don't know Jeff but I am impressed with his enthusiasm to get his car back to the track. He also has a great group of guys behind him and who could ask for a more fantastic wife supporting him.
Jeff, you're what Drag Racing is all about and you're my pick to get some rounds under your belt this weekend. Good luck!
