think i can remember brad driving the bandit car, but only maybe saw it once or twice in late 80's, early 90's......it was a mustang or thunderbird i think; i think eric reed
drove a similar body back in that era? could have been same car? or ex-candies/hughes body? can remember frank kramberger campaigning a ford, philadelphia flyer FC
back then too, but i think he was more late 80's?

I think the Bandit was a Mustang, maybe black in color, with an outline of a cowboy wearing a bandana face mask & cowboy hat. This was before Prudhommes car that had kind of the same logo for Skoal. I tried to find a photo of the Nitro Bandit. You know how many F/C had the name "Bandit"? A ton of 'em. Anyhoo, it was a cool car. Saw it run a lot at then Firebird in Phoenix.

Saw and talked to Brad at Seattle a number of times in the 80's and early 90's. Nice guy
Remember he also ran a BFH ( Blown Fuel Hydro ) back in the day
Brad got runner up at the 1988 NHRA Seafair Northwest Nationals. Seattle

I think it was Brad driving his FC at Indy, I'm thinking in the '80s, and it grenaded the motor and the body became shrapnel. Pretty wild explosion.

The good old days of BFH without capsules.
Harry remember when the BFH pilots would just have on a t-shirt, helmet, life jacket
and the parachute strapped to their back. It was and still is a E-Ticket ride.

Looks like the "Mr Ed" BFH is losing oil out of the breather tube. At least
on the water their is no clean up. Fire the next pair.
