Wow, this changes everything. I don't recall them ever closing the field only to re-open it for more qualifications. Hopefully the non-regular pros can come back. The biggest losers will be the fans and sportsman racers
Wow, I'm so glad I didn't end up going this year.
What does this mean with 3 Divisional races scheduled this weekend. Englishtown, Woodburn and Iowa for D5? I know a lot of drivers will pick Indy over their Divisionals and no one EVER runs a divisional the same weekend as indy.
The planned completion of the LODRS 5-5 race on Thursday and the originally scheduled LODRS 5-6 races at Earlville will be completed as planned.
See you there!

I'm so glad I live 20 minutes away.
Can't wait for next weekend. (despite the early forecasts for rain)
gotta love Larry Morgan's "cookout" comments on ESPN.....
So Larry is right in saying that NHRA is stupid for not coming back next week, continuing qualifying and then racing.
But when NHRA announces that they are coming back next week, continuing qualifying and then racing, they are stupid? Do I have that right?
Am I the only one confused?
Alan
The only stupid decision NHRA made was to reopen qualifying. It has NEVER been done due to loss of qualifying sessions to rain. Correct me if I am wrong...
To be honest, it gives the fans of day of qualifying they were entitled to, and people who thought they were going to miss the field get two shots at it. Win-win.
What refunf policy?
