Impact Canopies returns as the Preferred Canopy Supplier to the PMRA,
Quick 32 Sportsman Series and PBSS for 2011 drag racing season
PORT COQUITLAM, BRITISH COLUMBIA (June 3, 2011) – The Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series will once again be able to provide a strong and professional presence at event race tracks through the support of Impact Canopies Inc., the Preferred Canopy Supplier to the three drag race series.
“We greatly appreciate the support from Impact Canopies,” noted Bruce Mehlenbacher, Director of Operations for the three series. “Not only does Impact provide a first-class canopy shelter for our operations staff during race weekends, it also provides us with high visibility and instant recognition.”
Based just outside of Vancouver, BC, Impact Canopies has several locations throughout North America catering to groups in sporting, cultural, and charity events. Its involvement with the PMRA, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the PBSS is its first venture into the motorsport world.
“We are in event marketing in general,” said Kim Hubbs, General Manager and Vice President of Sales for Impact Canopies Canada Inc. “It is a key part of our business.”
Hubbs went on to say that Impact provides a product that helps a corporation or business concern with promoting its identity.
“We brand corporate identity that creates instant credibility,” he said. “We sell basic shelters for keeping cool and dry, but the sexier side is the custom applications that help businesses get noticed.”
Impact provides a wide range of canopy, pop shelter, and folding tent products for a variety of requirements. The company has Canadian roots dating back to 1999 with its Instant Canopies and Instant Canopy Accessories, and in 2006 Impact Images was formed to manufacturer and distributes Instant Canopies and Instant Canopy Accessories.
Officials of the PMRA, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the PBSS will operate during race weekends in the convenience and comfort of the large Impact Canopies installation during the 2011 racing season.
