February 25, 2007 - Pennsburg, PA IH Racing today announced that C&M Home Builders, Inc. will be IH Racing’s primary sponsor for 2007. C&M Homes, who has sponsored IH Racing since 2005, will have signage on the hood & doors of the race car and on both sides of IH Racing’s new Shadowmaster enclosed trailer from Cargo Trailer Sales. Since 1985, award winning C & M Home Builders has created homes of distinction throughout the Bucks and Montgomery County suburbs of Philadelphia and throughout the gorgeous Pocono Mountains. George Houck and Bryan Levy are turning IH Racing’s 1967 Pontiac Lemans from a street/strip 14 sec car into a full race car capable of 11.5 sec. George Houck of Dutch Power Racing and George’s Service Center II from Lansdale PA, who built the motor that won all the 2005 and 2006 rounds, is building the new motor. During his 40 yr. racing career, George won 30 straight races in 1968 and 1969, and won Super Chevy at Maple Grove in 1985. Bryan Levy of Valley Auto Group, Pennsburg PA, will be doing all of the car work.
Bryan has worked on race cars for the past 20 years including drag race and circle track cars.
P&S Garage of Marshalls Creek in the Poconos, who has sponsored IH Racing since 2005, will be providing dyno services with their Mustang chassis dyno.
Driver Ike Heckler Jr. has 5 round wins in 2005 and 9 round wins in 2006 including a 3rd round win at the Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk, OH and a 3rd round win at the Footbrake Nationals at Maple Grove, PA. Ike has also qualified #2 and #4 at the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals at Maple Grove. IH Racing’s 2007 schedule takes them to 3 NSCA events, 3 NMCA events, and various Pontiac & Nostalgia races.
