Anyone hear of this news yet? I know Robert is an excellent shooter, maybe going back to what he really has a passion for.

So if Robert retired from Drag Racing did he stepping down from John Force Racing? Also is Summer Hight racing this year

For what it's worth, trapshooting is not a new hobby for Robert and his wife. There is a small local trapshooting club here in Iowa that he has been coming to for several years between the Topeka/Brainard/Indy weekends. Possibly has many as ten years.

There has to be a lot more to this story of him seemingly disappearing from the NHRA tour, and from John Force Racing with little explanation except "medical issues". If he can't drive because of said medical issues, why isn't he seen at Pomona last fall in a supporting role in any of the Force pit areas? This is a realy strange story.

Guy's no more speculation about Robert returning needed here. We talked it is over. And he made the right decision for him.

Larry, I'll certainly comply but I'd like to know something. John Force Racing, of which Robert Hight was president of, is arguably the most prominent, successful and well known team in all of drag racing and it's only natural for members of a prominent drag racing forum to be curious about what's going on with him and the team the same as we all were when Coil left. The same as we all were when John got hurt. But to read some of the responses, you'd think one of us was caught red handed in bed with their wives, trying to pry answers out of one of them. It's like "none of your damn business" for even asking. We're not trying to be nosy or gossipy; this isn't the National Enquirer. Just interested and concerned fellow racers.

No offense intended but neither do I need an "if you don't like it...." response. I have zero intention of mentioning it again. Respectfully, Carl

And if Hight is really retired, then who is the President of JFR now? Does it show on their website (too lazy to check) or their Facebook page (I'm not on FB)?

It's time the under handed and off color comments come to a end. everyone watches Robert's interviews on tv, they are from the John Force school of interviewing. the real Robert is very reserved and a very different person off the track. It's time to let him enjoy life.
