CHARLOTTE (March 28) -- Knowing he only had two qualifying runs to make his mark on the elimination ladder of the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, Hector Arana Jr. left little to chance, powering down the famous four-lane dragstrip in a track record 6.794 at 196.22 mph to earn the No. 1 spot on his Lucas Oil Buell.
