That photo is from Dave Milsarek, his stuff is amazing. Go check out his work here, the Soapy Sales car is at the bottom. My favorite is 2/3 of the way down! Paul Candies and Leonard Hughes with their driver, Leroy Goldstien.

THANKS for help, but let my clear up a little about me.This is not my first dealing in trying to find pictures to build models by.I am 60 years old, when to my first drag race at 7 years old.I have racing in my blood there on.I have watched,raced,crewed and driven several different cars in my life.I have always build models during my life .I have over 5000 books and magazines about racing.I have over 8500 pictures downloaded. I have most of the 60 70 80 funny car list downloaded..So when I am looking for more shots of different cars on the greatest racing site on net I am trying to find pictures of cars from the maters that have taken pictures themselfs.I am trying to leave something for my grandkids to have to keep racing in their minds after all us old racers are long gone.Dave Milsarek is one of the best sites for super great shots.But some of the best have been sent to me by way of mater personal pictures.So once again THANKS FOR THE HELP and please keep the help coming.James

James , Not sure if you have seen this yet but over at Justin Grants board we have a thread thats 275 pages plus of nothing but old funnycar pictures.... I am not sure of a thread anywhere on the internet with that many old fc's in one post...... There are some very rare pictures in that thread....

I got on a gasser model building craze a couple years back, James. Stone/Woods/Cook, Radiation (Troxel) Thames, Shores & Hess, Big John and many more. Had fun..not pro level or anything, but got pretty detailed.Thanks Mark great site!!!About 3 hours looking,found bunch I can use.Thanks James
