Said something along the line of ' funny car driver matt hagan found this anything but funny' and showed it 3 time including the slo mo.

And tell them you heard it was on their 6 pm news on wednesday and you would like to see it. It was nothing you havent seen but its always good to get some mainstream exposure. Just wish it was not only when they go bang or crash! I reckon going 332 mph in 1000 ft is newsworthy.

It's getting remarkable coverage here in the UK. Just been watching the BBC News-24 Channel -- a phone interview with Matt himself (that's a first, an NHRA racer on UK television!) in which he came over very well indeed.

Then an interview with a safety expert from the Top Gear TV show who was very complimentary about both car & driver safety standards and the swiftness of the Safety Safari response.

All in all, very positive coverage for NHRA, and incredibly rare ever to see such stuff on our mainstream TV.
