HAGAN AND CREW PREPARE FOR THE BIG SHOW

San Antonio, Texas--Matt Hagan and crew arrived today at San Antonio Raceway in preparation of the Amalie Oil Texas Nationals scheduled for this weekend.

This will be Hagan's debut race behind the wheel of the SHELOR.COM/TORCO Monte Carlo Nitro Funny Car.

"We're all pretty anxious for things to get going," said Hagan. "I feel like the past few months of preparation have all led up to this, all the changes we've been through, all the testing, it's all about getting our season off to a good start at this event."

Hagan and crew are looking to establish themselves within what is sure to be one of the most competitive fields of the entire season on the Knoll Gas Nitro Jam professional drag racing series.

"We know this is going to be a learning experience for us this year," said Hagan. "We're just going to go out there and do our best. I think we'll find a way to be competitive this year and we're looking to get started off on the right foot this weekend."

Matt Hagan will take the lanes for the first time of the 2008 season on Friday evening at 6:30 PM for the first qualifying round. Qualifying continues on Saturday and competition rounds will be held on Sunday.
