interesting article on C+ about Greg wanting to see The Johnsons back competing at the track, in the final Atlanta race. It doesn't look like it's gonna happen unless someone lays out some cash. WJ in typical fashion made a pretty ballsy statement about He currently have motors "way" more powerful than the current crop of competitors racing. I'd be interested to here the response from the present contingent, in pro stock, regarding that statement.

He might be talking carbs,when switching over to fuel injection didnt the teams lose some power? Or was that the same time rev limiter put in place?

The biggest hitter was the rev. limiters on the Dodge motors. The fuel injection did set the teams back until they got a grip on it. What sucked was when Chris Mcgaha made the deal with Mike Edwards that he would buy his entire engine program Only if he would give him the carbs. with the deal and then NHRA decided to go to fuel injection. Well, That's gotta suck huh?
From reading the article, W.J. comes across as saying he is making more power than everyone else using fuel injection. Unfortunately, I call bullshit. If he does, Pull those cars out and prove it.

He keeps bragging that he has people leasing his motors, Well if he is so successful leasing, then he should have some pocket money to make it happen. If not, He is a bullshitter and I'll bet Greg has some pocket change to make him come out.
