My 1st thoughts are why have an 8 million dollar home when the couple are gone racing more than half the year.
Well I would guess that there are plenty of people with expensive homes that aren’t in them often, mainly because they’re spending time doing what allows them the ability to pay for stuff like that.

If they want California living and not pay our stupid taxes...smart money is buy a place on north shore tahoe on lakeshore dr...all the luxury of west shore (ca) and none of the crazy taxes/legislation..add in a 30 min drive to mccarran airport in reno to fly the private jet to races and appearances and you have a winner in my book ;)

I think you mean Reno-Tahoe International Airport. McCarren is the Vegas airport.

The house looks like something out of Studio 54 or Pulp Fiction. lol

So true Mike, but some one appraised; even if that figure is on the high side. You can buy a nice home on the cliff overlooking the ocean in San Clemente for half that amount. Just sayin.

Wonder what the difference is on the property taxes are between California and Texas is for $8 mil piece of property?

Believe it or not, Texas property taxes are about 50%-75% more than California on assessed value. (1.1% vs. 1.9%). The reason being because Texas has no income tax, they gotta get some money from somewhere.

You could buy the same house in Paradise Valley (by Phoenix) for 7.9 mil. hahahahahaha Naw, but I do know that lotsa folks from Calif move here. They sell their Calif house & buy 2 houses here with the $$$. Plus our taxes are a lot less (except for new cars).

Gino, probably wont get a serious appraisal till they get a offer. Might look on zillow today and check the neighborhood out. You know, Gino, my birthday is coming up and I might want to drop a hint or 2 ;)

31% increase over 3 years is a pretty good return

There are 2 houses in Yorba Linda that are for sale for over 8 million and this is the lower price of the 2.

Maybe with the Indy car season on hold he had to take a pay cut and can't make the mortgage. Probably not...Looking like no Indy 500 this year either. It's the only IC race I watch every year.
