Hey guess what? There is not a single cloud in sight! The air is sitting solid at about 2500 feet corrected, and we are underway here in the desert. The was an Alan Reinhart sighting about 5 mins ago, so ease your minds.

That time ended up being number 2 behind Schumacher's 3.93. Lots of tire smoke in that session.

Conditions are very different from yesterday. Today is sunny. Track is sitting at 108 degrees and many cars did not get a good 'baseline' to tune from yesterday. All of Top Fuel (except for ARLEY) did not make a pass. The track is actually 'good' for the current weather conditions. We should see minor improvements for the next qualifying session.

okay, t/f low will be a .88, flopper at .11, who knows with gas floppers... most likely GA will pull a shot out... have fun, will fire off e-mail this evening or early in the morning

gotta say, Robert, Jimmy, Eric, Alex, and the rest of the guys came up soft in rd 2... .17 got them in the field... now we'll see what the track will hold....
