Good article on bottom end guys

Most of the job isn't that bad. If you get along with the guys working on the top end you develop a routine with them. The biggest problem for me was the heat when I first pulled the oil pan off or when the clutch can was pulled off. The #5 bearing is HOT! Also watch out for the discs and floaters as they get knocked to the ground. Other than that it was the occasional oil drops in your hair, that stayed with you all day, or a fuel line raining down on you. You're the first one finished with your job and then you move into the trailer to work on the rack you pulled out. I tried a cylinder head for awhile, but I preferred being a diver.
