This is real bad news for the Schumacher team, but probably not unexpected. That was always an odd-ball, unconventional sponsorship on those 2 cars but it has been real good while it lasted. I would say it's not at all likely we will see those two cars back for some time as sponsorship has been getting harder and harder to come by, and especially now with the virus situation. So, with Force out indefinitely, that would be 4 less cars on the NHRA tour next year. Not good.

Don't underestimate Don's ability to locate new sponsors!

I have to thank the Chandler's for their contribution to the sport, and for extending the support even after Terry passed away. They touched a lot of people, from the teams themselves to all the Make A Wish and Infinite Hero programs.

This is the last paragraph from the DSR press release. Pure class from Don and DSR:
DSR encourages the NHRA community to continue to support these deserving causes in any way possible. To support MD Anderson, fans are encouraged to visit mdanderson.org/myfundraising and use the DSRFC solicitation code when making a donation. Infinite Hero challenge coins can be purchased trackside or online (infinitehero.org/donate). Fans can also make a donation by texting NHRA to 243725. Information about the annual DSR/U.S. Nationals Riley program will be announced Aug. 20.

My brother and I sat with many ‘Wish’ families in the hospitality area. It was inspiring to see Terry move around the track and entertain those families. Jack and Tommy were always classy ambassadors. Tough times now but thanks to those who made it all happen.
