[coverattach=1]XTremeRebellion.com/RumBum team building on Charlotte success

Ennis, Texas – Last week at zMAX Dragway, Shawn Gann rode his XTremeRebellion.com/RumBum Buell to the semi-final round in the NHRA Full Throttle Series event there. His third-round appearance moved him up two places in the Pro Stock Motorcycle points standings to fifth, only two markers behind fifth-place Karen Stoffer.

This week at the Texas Motorplex near Dallas, Gann and his team plan to ride that momentum to more round wins in the 24th Annual O’Reilly Super Start Batteries NHRA Fall Nationals. He said even though his experience at this stop in the Lonestar State is limited, he’s looking forward to the weekend.

“I like Dallas. The track is really good, but I just haven’t raced there enough. They just (recently) added that to (the PSM) schedule. I’ve raced there a couple times.”

More importantly to Gann and his team is the statement they made last weekend and their confidence they can repeat here. “We’ve been telling everyone that we’re back,” he said. “Back in the day, we were winning rounds, winning races…we fell off for a while, but we’re back. We made it into the Countdown to 1 and we’ve been consistent all year. XTremeRebellion.com and RumBum being onboard has been huge for us and we want to get them a Wally and we’re going to.”

Gann and the rest of the NHRA Full Throttle Series Pro Stock Motorcycle class qualify for Sunday’s eliminations for the O’Reilly Super Start Batteries NHRA Fall Nationals Friday at 2 p.m. EST. The second qualifying round on Friday is scheduled to start at 4:45 p.m. Saturday’s qualifying for the bikes is scheduled to start at 11:15 a.m. with the final round starting at 2:30 p.m. Sunday’s eliminations begin at 11 a.m.
