[coverattach=1]XTreme Rebellion/RumBum Buell records best ET of the weekend in Q4

Norwalk, Ohio – Shawn Gann and his XTreme Rebellion/RumBum team did what they were supposed to do Saturday: get faster. During the final round of NHRA Full Throttle Series Pro Stock Motorcycle qualifying for the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park, Gann ran his Buell down the quarter mile in 7.101 seconds. The run, his fastest of the weekend, puts him in the tenth spot for Sunday’s eliminations where he will face Steve Johnson.

“That was a good run,” Gann said, smiling. “We would always like to be quicker and qualify higher, but we kept finding speed all weekend and we’re looking forward to Sunday.

“Steve’s tough. He’s raced us tough all year and he always has good reaction times, but our lights have been good, too. We just need to keep our consistency and if we do, we’re going to win rounds.”

Andrew Hines set a track record Saturday with an ET of 6.944, earning PSM top qualifier honors and will face Mike Berry in the opening round Sunday.
