Why should it be that when you build something neat to drive or race, it's immediately at risk? Because two factors - over which you have no control - exist. One is the multi-tasking-while-I-drive whacko. The other is a person who wants what you have, and won't pay for it (aka thief). Either can - in an instant - radically alter your best laid plans. And they're doing it with increasing regularity.
