What a great win. Doug had a consistent Poynter tune up today, and even more consistent was the lights Doug had, he earned every win, getting the hole shot each time. Awesome stuff. Congrats to Doug, Kevin and the entire team.

Way to go Doug, Kevin and crew! What a fitting tribute to Kevin's grandmother, Doug's boys and now Scott as he was mentioned in the only interviews he was given. I'll always prefer to gel as a team when it matters most and I'd say they have started making waves at just the right time. Best of luck to Herbert.

I think, anybody that was at that race today that has kids, felt the emotion of that win. And probably a lot of people that don't have kids, felt it too.

Then to go down to the trophy presentation and hear Doug get up there with his Daughter by his side, and speak....oh man. Just gave me chills.

I couldn't be happier for Doug. What a strong human being he is. No Wally can replace what he has lost, but hopefully he can somehow know what the reaction of virtually everyone in that facility was when his win light came on. Trust me when I say, this win was emotional for not only Doug, but everybody in the stands too.

You are right that was an emotional winner's circle. Hector's first, Tony was very choked up and of course Doug. I stood there with my daughter on my shoulders knowing how lucky I am to have her.
