five teams in FC countdown

There may be 10 drivers, but there are only five teams. Only one of those teams is a single car team and that team has enough money to bring out a second or third or fourth car if help was needed to win the championship. After what happened in the third round at Indy, do you think anyone is going to feel restrained in terms of diving if the championship is on the line? And what is NHRA going to do to prevent that from happening? We've seen what constitutes a legitimate dive-drive the car out of the groove so it smokes the tires. Just some questions-what are your thoughts?

If everyone ran heads up, had integrity, and choose to succeed or fail based upon what the driver and team did (when they gave their all) then this wouldn't be a problem. Hypotheticly.
