There was a "glitch" and the 1000' times were shown on the scoreboard. Someone forgot to reset the system after the F/C class?? Anyway, NHRA went to the ESPN trailer and watched the tape, and declared Gray the winner.

If they got 1000' times I would hazard a guess to say that they looked at the incremental times and made a determination as to whether Johnny Gray was on a better pass than Mike Edwards.... is it possible for anyone to go lower than Mike Edwards at the moment?
