Has anyone figured out the possible senarios for the FC Championship at Pomona?
If Hight goes how many rounds he wins regardless of what others do? etc.
The permutations should be interesting.
Cruz is in the driver's seat with the lead in the points. If Cruz wins the race, it doesn't matter what anyone else does. The other scenarios are numerous with Wilkerson and Hight have the best chances outside of Cruz. Tony and Jack have an outside chance of winning if the first three lose in the first or second rounds. Qualifying points will also factor into this, so you will not know the exact scenarios until Saturday night.
As the points figure right now, not figuring in qualifying here are the scenarios:
Cruz-If he wins the event he wins or go as many rounds as Wilk, or goes to the final (against anybody but Wilk)
Wilk-If he wins the event he wins
Hight-Needs to win two rounds more than both Cruz and Wilk.
Tony P-Win the race with Cruz going out in round 1, Wilk going out in round 1 or 2 and Hight doing no better than the semi's. However his qualifying position is really important because if he can get 3 more qualifying points than Cruz he can cut Cruz's lead by one whole round.
Fast Jack-Needs to go four rounds further than Cruz, three rounds more than Wilk, two rounds more than Hight and one more round than Tony. Qualifying is super important to Beckman. By gaining 5 more points in qualifying than Cruz, he can cut his deficit by one whole round. He could also cut a round out of Hight's lead by gaining 6 more qualifying points than Hight. He only trails Tony Pedregon for fourth by two points so he could actually move past Tony going into Sunday's eliminations.
