"Quarter-Mile Confessions," 1320 TV's popular talk show, presents another blockbuster lineup this week with guests team owner/sponsor/Torco founder Evan Knoll, NHRA Funny Car points leader Ron Capps, and Top Fuel phenom J.R. Todd.
At the International Hot Rod Association's Torco Race Fuels Northern Nationals this past weekend, Knoll chatted with Top Fuel driver and 1320 TV correspondent Clay Millican in an exclusive interview. In this rare personal glimpse of the oil/drag racing tycoon, Knoll talks about his childhood, family, start in the sport, and all the "toys" he enjoys with his friends.
Millican also took a peek at Todd's newly hectic life as a two-time Top Fuel winner in the last three NHRA races and his roots in IHRA competition and on the mechanical side of the sport.
In his conversation with host John Waldie, Capps talked about legendary crew chief Ed "Ace" McCulloch, drag racing's family atmosphere, and the NHRA championship chase. He also shared some news about brother Jon's driving career.
