Espn3

Nope,of course no update from idiots at espn. They are running pro mod now,god for bid they show some of that.

It's 6:43 pm as I type this, and I've got the "Your event is about to begin. Please stand by." screen. Would be nice to at least know why the delay. As opposed to the act as if nothing has happened screen.

I'm just getting the endless spinning circle in the middle. What would be wrong with showing Pro Mod? I would love to see PM qualifying...

Kinda like when you're watching the weather forecast for the day on TV, and the weatherman says "chance of rain", while it's pouring out... Sorry, I'm getting bored!!

Checked live timing, two cars didnt make it to finish line. Maybe a crash???

This sport needs fans like breath in its body. How many thousands of fans and potential fans watch about five seconds of that "about to begin" bull and have something else to do? They may well never come back.

Steve / Jer / Nunz ... Maybe, just maybe, you harsh critics might want to wait for facts before skewering ESPN and NHRA. Despite what you may think, you are NOT entitled to know everything especially in a bad situation like this.

bad pro mod wreck gateway - Yellow Bullet Forums

Not something you would advertise on your TV coverage. I suggest you go do something else if NHRA and ESPN annoy you so much. Sometimes this place really angers me !!!!

All you have to tell fans is there is a delay of approximately X time and keep updating the message if needed. I repeat, fans who are expected to look at a screen that says "your event is about to begin" for ANY length of time will NOT hang around. FACT!
We need fans. We need young people. Talk to them. Do not turn them away.
