NOBLE, Okla. – Heavy rain has forced eliminations in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series at Thunder Valley Raceway to be postponed until Friday, October 27. Because qualifying was completed on schedule and the eliminations fields were set, competitors will get one time trial run on the 27th starting at 9 a.m. and go right into eliminations.
“The rain started at about 1 a.m. and never let up,” explained NHRA South Central division director Craig Hutchinson . “It’s been coming down heavy ever since and isn’t expected to stop so we decided the best thing to do was to come back on the 27th and finish it up.”
