No big shake up, just strategy. Drivers get the points, not the cars. Robert is in dire need of points to make the top ten, and John doesn't need them. So, he simply loans Robert a better car (John's car) to earn points to make the count down, fairly simple. The question is will DSR put Hagan in Beckman's car to counter?, or for that matter how about a Cruz & Tony swap? Tobler's doing both cars now!

What if after Robert gets the better car they get the same results? Before you jump on me I am a JFR fan, I'm just asking. The driver can have an effect on the car's performance. For example, I remember a few years ago John was using the clutch too much backing up from the burnout and heating it up more than Coil wanted.
aaa car tests great @ indy then no-qual. @ BIR.
anyone else care to comment on this![]()
There are also the team dynamics to consider. Try as one might, teams get solidified, set into the same routine, no matter how hard you try to shake it up. Imagine how it would shake up your team if you suddenly went from calm and collected Robert Hight to hyperactive John Force. Talk about shock therapy!
When you're in a certified slump, shaking things up in the heads of the personnel can be every bit as important as changes in the equipment.
John and Robert both testing each others cars today at BIR.
Wasn't Robert out of testing days after last weeks test at ORP?
But don't these teams work together anyway? I would think they are used to John by now!

I hope the whole switching and the reruled testing blows up in there face.
Guess John Force is the NHRA.
Well we get 2 races find out, it will make them a little bit more intresting.
If this works (for Hight), it is very possible that Mike Neff could end up on the outside. Look at the points!!
I'm surprised that no Cruz or Hagan fans , so far, have a problem with this deal.
I'm a DSR fan and I'd really like to see Hagan in, but not by using anything else than his car, his team....that's he's raced with all year.
I guess this is the old battle: Spirit of Competition vs. I need my sponsors money!
