Proud of the brothers and stewie was awesome standing on the starting line watching that(I am the one setting wheelie bar) the motor came apart perfect didn't even hurt a spark plug has more in it dropped a hole at 4.1.......oh and 3.83 324 was the 1000ft so plenty left lol
Lucky enough to be there this weekend. That was an awsome, clean run. The whole program at 131 was cool. Good time. This et slip is from their FB page.
Didnt change a ton...Nothing motor wise couple changes in clutch but most of the changes are in the management of the fuel and clutch with timers and flows....they were going to push even harder but track was 72 last night and it was getting cold out in a hurry was still a match race wanted to make sure it went for the fans no one wants smoke the tires
Took my Grand Daughters (8&10),my step son and his wife, to their first drag race. After Dom's first run, they were all standing and going nuts. We were in the tower seats, which added to the great time. Congrats to Dom and crew. Great job. Everyone can't wait for their next race, they are hooked.
Dan, is that the difference between prepping the track for the entire 1320 instead of just for 1000, so when you get to the last 320, the tires don't chunk?
The tires mostly chunk on decel when they are trying to become round again....it is worse when the track is good or if you have to lift still in the prepped area of the track....they will blister on the sides if you spin down track......for top fuel and funny car you don't need a ton of prep past 1/2 track as the wings and or bodies are shoving it into the track
