Dodge Switching PS Car from Avenger to Dart

Comp Plus is reporting this in the rumor section. How long ago did they stop making the Avengers? I would have rather seen a Challenger or Charger, but I am thankful we still have at least one manufacturer who is still supporting the sport. I would post the link, but something goofy is going on over there with their website.

Does anyone think a 2014-15 NHRA Pro Stock Dart will look anything like the original? Bet it'll be a much longer nose and a much larger trunk and probably only two doors.

When I asked Roy Johnson at G-ville this year about a Challenger Pro Stock he said that it would have to be scaled down too much and it's like a brick. Would be awesome though!

it's too bad too. I think the current generation of Pro Stock cars are the first ones to look worse than their street counter parts...at least with the Mustangs and Camaros

They would be a lot slower that a 10th with the bodies modified to look stock, like how about 1-2 seconds.

Might be why the Supercar races are gaining in popularity. At least the Mustangs'Camaros' and Challengers' look like the stock versions.
