ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (April 22, 2007) – Jeff Dobbins was rewarded Sunday for recording the quickest professional reaction time during qualifying at the Spring Nationals presented by Advance Auto Parts and Castrol.
Dobbins, of Wilmington , N.C. , won the Wayne-Dalton “Turn on the Lights” award with a 0.016 reaction time at Rockingham Dragway during Torco’s CompetitionPlus.com Pro Stock qualifying. Wayne-Dalton, the “Official Garage Door and Home Control Company” of the IHRA, will reward Dobbins $1,000 and a Wayne-Dalton Home Control Kit.
Pro Stock driver Chuck DeMory was also recognized for winning the Wayne-Dalton “Turn on the Lights” program in San Antonio . DeMory won the prize with an impressive 0.002 reaction time.
