like I stated several months ago the Ali-Alanabi team were more than likely just testing up till now.
What with the clown down a team can just test until May then pour the open the win gates.
I predict that by INDY the ALI-Alanabi team will have 3 or more TF wins(perhaps even win the entire western swing).
The FC is going through some minor gremlins IMO.
congrats to Dixon and team Al-Alanabi

just sit back and watch that team WIN lots of races
just as long as Dixon doesn't sleep at the light anymore.
The FC is on the verge of winning lots of races as well.Worsham is perhaps the best FC driver out there. You did catch his back pedaling this past weekend. Opie is GOOD
like I stated, its been test season for the first 5 or so races for both cars.
And don't even worry about DSR team. Come the hot weather that team is not going to win very many.
Ashley Hood = she needs to work on reaction time or perhaps the car needs to react faster. Sure the car is fast but the driver needs to be able to get the car moving instead of waiting for the loud pedal to respond.
OH I forgot its a FORD, when the loud pedal is depressed it needs to think then decide for a few seconds before the Ford moves. typical Ford.

The Al-Anabi fuel teams are 'speaking the same language now'. There was a bit of a 'lost in translation' time for Dixon and CREW CHEIF JASON McCulloch as how the car was reacting.

Those communication errors are over....

Watch out Top Fuel. The summer months are a coming.... But don't count out Antron's MAR team- Some Budweiser Canadian HP- or the Lucas clan....

The key to who will be at the top before the countdown is the team which will ADAPT to changing conditions the best.

My money is on the Alan Johnson owned and (Influenced) team.

Well said Tim. I agree that everyone thinks Johnson is the tuner on both cars. It IS Jasons car. Sure, Alan pry looks over things, but Jason makes the majority of the calls.

Another thing that annoys the hell out of me is ESPN saying the Sheik is a co-owner on the team. They mentioned it multiple times the last broadcast. He is not an owner in AJR, all he is is a 'sponsor' for the cars.

Actually the Sheik is a sponsor AND part owner with Alan Johnson. ESPN IS RIGHT.

Sure it's Jason's car but where would he be if he was in no way affiliated with Alan Johnson, I doubt he would have 3 wins this early in the season.

Ya think? I was thinking that the years working for Alan on the Army car and his Dad being the 'Ace' that he is....he would have learned a thing or two to be able to handle it on his own. jmho
