Cruz Ped!

you gota give this guy his props for the win. No big name crew chief and he even has his hands in on the tune up. . .whether or not your a fan got to give him a thumbs up!

It was an impressive showing from him and the team today. I'm glad to see them have some success.

I've never been a fan of the brothers Pedregon, but, Cruz had a hell of a day. Couldn't hit his ass with either hand all season then put together a string of truly outstanding runs on a 125 degree plus track, earned and deserved the win big time.

He might be, but the Pedregons did one thing right at ZMax. They raced each other straight up, in a race Tony really couldn't afford to lose. They have my respect, at least for today.

OMG, give it up already!!!!! Team orders are still used with alot of teams and that's just the way it is, even if they wasn't used today.

The brothers let things speak for themselves today (a good thing).

Raced "straight-up" round two and had the best car all weekend.

I've blown hot-and-cold on both of them. Done a lot on relatively low-bucks but, every so often they shoot-off-their-mouths and diminish the reasons to like them.

You mean last year at the us natl's? Put yourself in there shoes and watch Force throw it,id prolly say something to and you would too.

I'm not much of a Cruz fan but that car was bad ass all weekend and it was a genuinely thankful guy in the winners circle. Some real emotion from a guy who really appreciated the win.... not a jacked up Full Throttle winfomercial.

Congrats Cruz! Nice to see what he could do with a low budget. They just kept pecking away at the tuneup and finally they have a consistant car.

Every time I think back on Indy last year, I always wish that Cruz would've just stayed back in the pits instead of being on the starting line. You know the cameras would've hunted him down and hounded him about why he wasn't watching, which would've been an opportune time for him to just say, "Why? Everyone on the grounds knows what's getting ready to happen.........."

Not a big fan of the Brothers Pedregon, but say what you want. The last two meaningful meetings (Brainerd last year and this past weekend) between these two have resulted in obvious heads-up racing with the brother in need going down. My hat is off. ;)

I love the comment from cruz's crew chief on how they "went Alan Johnson" on the rest of the field ....... classic !! ..... quote of the year for me !!

Excellent weekend and nice move by putting the dirt car on the back burner. Nice to see Snap On is onboard for 2011.

great victory for cruz and snap-on.
komatsu decal in winner's circle at first race.....not bad.

playoff system intended to boost fan attendance and tv ratings during
later part of season - sponsor exposure attained via a victory in march or october is equal;
whether a playoff contender or not.

Might not have had the big numbers, but got the car down a HOT racetrack. As I heard Bob Frey announce one year at Maple Grove in 2007 about Cruz that weekend- He had that car "runnin on mean".
