Could the NHRA do the NFL Pro Bowl 2014 format?

Within each category, either fans, team owner, crew chief, or the driver selects their mechanics, crew chief driver etc. Through a draft format?

1 car per team, no computer?

Sponsors approval pending etc.

The winning purse goes to charity, one race a year?

I would rather see something like Snake and Big Daddy each pick teams of cars and have a run off for an All Star event. Swapping crew guys, etc. could get dangerous.

I am still wondering how Vandergriff didn't red light when Hofmann slapped the throttle?! They ran the event twice, and I agree with Karl ... That was enough. The handicap start for fuel cars was just too wonky for my tastes.

I honestly don't remember enough of the All-star event. Just that the TF complained about jumping at the sound of the FC hit.

It could be an all star type of race. The 4 wide should not be a points race and should be like an invitational. Countdown? No way!

remember back in late 90's didn't winston have a 'no bull challenge'?....there was a pre race drawing for one
qualifying position i think FC & TF combined....whoever was in the correct class and qualified in that drawing's
# position would win i think $100k if they went on to win the race.

try to get coke to pony up to that

Paul, they didn't back then.....they picked one number (1 thru 16) and one class (FC or TF) out of 32 qualified TF & FC....separate classes racing individually.....the car in class that matched the qualifying spot had the opportunity to
run for a $100k bonus if they won the race.....the two classes were not combined.
