McClenathan races No. 8 J.R. Todd (4.549 at 324.98 mph) in the first round. The pairing has POWERade Series points significance. McClenathan and the Carrier Boyz Racing FRAM Boost dragster are 10th in points with 825 and Todd is 12th at 776.
We only got one run Saturday because of rain," said McClenathan. "We'll take ninth place. I'm excited to see if we can beat J.R. We'll be trying our best.
