It will be very interesting to see if this scare affects attendance this weekend at Gainsvuille. I'm in Connecticut and the number of cancellations of events from St Paddys day parades to all high school sporting events and everything in between is running rampant. Kind of interesting though that our casino's with thousands of people in close contact and playing and touching slot machines and gaming tables etc are OK as are thousands of kids together in school's.Hoping all this gets sorted out soon.

I'm in CT too.. Seems over blown - in relation to the more likely killer Flu and Flu complications resulting in Pneumonia. Take reasonable precautions - maybe avoid really CONFINED spaces - especially if you're a seasoned-citizen (like most of us fans) but I think it's a mistake to fall for all the (mostly mis-informed) hype.
PS: Nitro fumes can kill ANY virus!

I think the next two weeks are going to be very telling. It's like standing 1000's of wooden matches on end about an inch apart from each other.

World's biggest rodeo got cancelled today essentially mid day .... I'm not sure how you can say its overblown, its a very difficult scenario to approach. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

My kids are heading to Vegas this weekend. I suggested they not be shooting craps with shared dice that a lot of different people are blowing on for luck!

I'm in the high-risk group since I had bi-lateral interstitial pneumonia last April. That's what is clogging hospitals right now.
Italy is running out of ventilators and every doctor over there is being used as respiratory doctors assistants.

So Shannon and PJ...make sure there's no viruses on this here site, OK? Thanks😷

The biggest question I have is how much Nitro does Sunoco have on hand right now? Because I know a source that buys containers that can’t get it at best until May

I'm not changing anything that I do. This thing is way overblown

I pretty much agree. I understand the this virus has been spread around the globe and I understand taking precautions and using common sense. Since January 1st, there have been 4,800 deaths from the flu and over 14,000 since the season began in the U.S. Where is the Mainstream Media on that? Because it doesn't fit their agenda. They are creating a panic. Younger and older people with underdeveloped or compromised immune systems are at risk. Be smart about it. Turn off your television and live your life.

Flu Killed 32,000 people last yearo with no confinement

This whole thing is blown so far out of proportion it is unbelievable. What is worse is that many people's livelihood is being affected with all of these events and now sporting events being canceled. I was visiting my uncle in the hospital this week and asked several nurses and a couple of doctors and they all said that while everyone should take extra precautions that there is no reason to panic yet here we are now....

was looking at a can of disinfectant that’s about a year old and one of the viruses it listed as killing was the Corona virus, there up to something

The NBA just suspended their season, music festivals are getting cancelled or postponed, and the World Health Organization just declared it a pandemic. Overblown? I don't think so, it's pretty serious.

Bill Maher summed it up like this:
“The way they talk about it on the news…They make it sound like if you’re within six feet of anyone who has it, just get your affairs in order,” Maher said.
As of Saturday, more than 3,000 people have died from the pandemic worldwide, including 17 people in the United States, according to the Washington Post. Maher listed off statistics of “the regular flu” and claimed that 517 people have died from it “this season” in California and 61,000 died from it last year.
“If that was on TV every day, I’d assume we’d be freaking out,” he said. “People die. That’s what happens in life…Y2K was going to end the world and the fires in Kuwait were going to end the world and the BP oil spill was going to end the world, and every other f—ing flu we’ve ever had. And it didn’t.”
Yes, it's a serious disease and I hope I don't get it. But he's right about the news media. Give it a couple of weeks and they'll find something else to get people worked up over and this virus will have lived out
it's "15 minutes of fame".

Most people at risk are those with chronic illness like me. Those that are healthy even if have contact should be ok, info was given to me by my great infectious disease specialist. Issue is definitely overreach.
