Per NHRA.com Comp. Eliminator competitor Jim Cowan was transported for medical evaluation after an incident that occured at 1630, Thursday November 12, 2009. It's my hope he checks out fine and is back in action soon. The report on this event can be found at the web link below,

I called Jim today and his wife answered the phone. He was at the track and this morning was his first time leaving the motor home. She said he is very sore, His lower back hurts , some ribs hurt and his neck is sore. He has looked the car over and said the damage was less than he thought. Good news is, he was back at the track.
