Torco Race Fuels rider, Chris Rivas is bound and determined to get his first win by the end of the 2007 season. With a great team and a great bike, Rivas knows he can get it done.
“We have a great team over here,” said Rivas. “Evan and Matt have worked hard this year to put together such a powerful team and I am thankful to be apart of it. We have been running extremely well the last few races, and I am so excited to get back to the track this weekend at Memphis. I have never won a race before and by the end of the season I hope to accomplish that feat for all that have stood behind me.”
Rivas sits ninth in the Pro Stock Motorcycle POWERade standings and wants it to stay that way. Hoping to get his first win and help out his teammate (Matt Smith) along the way, Rivas is looking to play the part of spoiler this weekend at Memphis.
“We have an awesome bike,” said Rivas. “Every now and then we have a few glitches, but for the most part we have one of the top bikes out there right now. We took out Angelle last week in Indy for Matt, and I am hoping to take out some more big dogs this weekend.”
