I'm hearing from people on the grounds at NRP that the water situation is looking quite a bit better.

Manzo's work yesterday increased the depth of the catch basin by 4 feet. Just from the hours overnight, the water in that basin has dropped considerably, meaning that the water table is dropping.

Though the sun is out, we can all cross our collective fingers that no more rain occurs since the water does seem to be slowly draining away into the aquifer. Every minute without more water helps.

What gets me is why didn't they build that to begin with? It's not like they don't see that kinda rain in Ohio!
