Well the crooks have found a way to rob you of your gift card
balance. If you buy Gift Cards from a display rack that has
various store cards you may become a victim of theft. Crooks are
now jotting down the card numbers in the store and then wait a few
days and call to see how much of a balance THEY have on the card.
Once they find the card is activated, and then they go online and
start shopping.

You may want to purchase your card from a customer service person,
where they do not have the Gift Cards viewable to the public.
Please share this with all your family and friends.

(Or just skip the cards cause I'm good with cash!!)

Gift card fraud

I had already been sent an e-mail detailing this issue, and I never realized how easy this could be to do. My wife said someone she works with had a gift card drained of its entire balance before they ever used it, and they thought it might never have been loaded up with the money from the start, but after finding out about this method of fraud, then now think that they may have been hit by one of these crooks. BE ALERT everyone, and go to the Snopes.com site and read up on all the info.
