@Rob Wendland
Few questions for you after watching your videos.

1) What kind of battery powers all those electronics?
2) How long does the battery last?
3) How long from start to finish does it take to build a TF Car?
4) How much money is invested in a TF Car when assembly is complete?

Thanks,
Shannon

Great to see ya on here Rob! Now I can relax instead of going to YT every five minutes looking for part 3 😉

We need more NHRA stars as 'Maters on here.... see who you can scare up! We've been missing Don Schumacher's visits (RIP), and I'm sure that there are a few that skulk around here without joining.... Mr Force possibly? Ya never know......

Another great video, thanks Rob.
You think you want to go top fuel racing. It takes many top of the line people with knowledge and experience. and tons of money to build and run a state of the art fuel car today. No wonder there are not people standing in line to start a new team. I watched a video that Erica's sister did and saw that the John Force racing buys $200k of clutch disk at a time. Holly 💩.

I had a neighbor of mine watch video #2. He said he had no idea what was evolved in running a fuel car. He is a part time spectator. mainly go's to Vegas. I think most spectators are the same in their knowledge.

I think it would help the spectator knowledge of drag racing if they showed these videos on the big screens at the National events during big oil downs. They keep showing old races and or other before seen videos. 12 minute videos would spread the knowledge. beets the hell out of the T-shirts air guns act.

If you can't learn from and appreciate these videos that Rob has put together, I recommend you take up under water basket weaving for your hobby.

You can do both. I just spent a s**t ton of $$$ on under water wine tasting.... nothing left for basket weaving

clay millican just put out a utube very similar to robs...... among other things, shows the clutch activation/cannon system.
no mention of bradenton.

can someone put these in the tech category? The NHRA is possibly the greatest at nitro racing, but they aren't the only ones that want to heed what Wedland has to say.

Did I hear him say it takes them about a week's time to put a TF car together? Helps, of course, if you have the skill, the parts and years of experience but I find that fact absolutely amazing. Even more amazing is watching a team take a spare rolling chassis out of their trailer, swap all the usable parts from their car that was just destroyed along with parts in the trailer, and have it ready to race the next day. These are talented people on an almost unheard-of scale.

Watched them live at the track and on tv. Clay Millican's youtube channel also has some great videos. Truly amazing automotive talent. Young guys and gals can go to school to learn their craft. Wish I would have done this early in "my" automotive career but now it's too late, it's a young persons game.

Me too, Brian. And to think I lived 3 minutes from Eddie Hill for nearly 20 years.... :(
