NitroMater Book of the Month Club

This month's offering is the classic known as "Drag Strip Danger"!

Published - 1972 by Western Publishing Co., Inc. (a Whitman Book)
Author - Ross R. Olney
Illustrations - Harvey Kidder

Summary - Two high school students get involved in drag strip racing and foil a conspiracy to wreck a race.

Kevin, interesting you should say that! I have recently began collecting some car books that made a big impression on me as a junior high and high school student..stuff by William Cambpell Gault and Henry Gregor Felson. So far I have collected Dirt Track Summer, Speedway Challenge, and Drag Strip by Gault, and Hot Rod and Street Rod by Felson. Looks to me like Drag Strip Danger might be a worthy addition also.... The books that I am collecting as a (ahem) mature person had a really large effect on the direction my life has taken between Jr. Hi and now...it's kinda fun! Let me know if you want to borrow any!
