Saturdays sessions were out of control. First session most everyone ran strong---8 AA/FD show and 16 N/FC show. Firebird Raceway was filled to capacity--their largest attendance ever!

Steve Pluegers cars seem to rule the nation in terms of performance and they back it up almost every time. Plueger seems to be getting bored w/ the lack of competition against his cars which are prepared identical.

The evening session was down right scary as the sun set and the track was like an ice rink. You could tell who had talent and who could only run well on a perfectly prepared track.

They held first round Sat night and the Funny Cars ran last.
Only Austin ran from A to B w/out lifting but many were not shy and took out cones.
Mindy Fry ran very well as did 'Mr Explosive' (Sanders) along w/ Krabill.

A very entertaining event.....
