Comp plus reports a possible US nats return by Bob in Jim Cunninghams mustang. He says they will test and if it feels right he will try it. How cool would that be huh.

Anyone giving odds?............... “I let them know if it feels like a dog with no chance of qualifying, I’m not gonna drive it at Indy,” Glidden confirmed.
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

6.73/205...:eek:.sounds like a dog to me

Nothing but respect for Mad Dog, but I gotta' wonder with as long as he's been out of the seat, how's he gonna' know whether or not it feels like a dog? Does he do some testing on a regular basis or something else that keeps him sharp behind the wheel?

From my perspective, just give him x number of dollars and let his brilliance behind the wheel do the talking

I am as big a BG fan as you are going to find, but I don't know that, even at his best, his driving was the key. His DRIVE, maybe....but HP was what made him the man.

The car went hard right out of the gate, and he drove thru it. He is still a very capable driver.

When they took the car down to the scale, Bob & Etta were on the back seats of a golf cart, they got a big hand both goin & commin.

It was GREAT to see him make a pass again.:cool::cool:
