Bluebaugh Racing Negotiates for Sponsorship with Auto Trader Publishing

Marketing Director for Bluebaugh Racing, Deborah Woodard of the Worlds Fastest Organization LLC, met with Desert Regional Representatives Ken Fincel and Jay Summers from Auto Trader Publishing to propose a marketing partnership sponsorship agreement for the 2008 racing season in late August. Fincel and Summers reviewed the recent accomplishments of Bluebaugh Racing and the marketing partnership proposal on the table slated to cover at least ten West Coast events and possibly some East Coast Events in the 2008 racing season. Fincel stated, “This will be the first time AutoTrader Publishing has worked with a full time professional racing team on this level”. Fincel and Summers also expressed a potential interest in the Bluebaugh Racing Prostreet Monte Carlo becoming the premier Auto Trader Publishing car. Many possibilities were discussed to include both on and off track events, and a marketing network that would offer increased benefit to the marketing partners of the Worlds Fastest Organization, LLC through involvement with Auto Trader Publishing. Woodard said, “AutoTrader Publishing is a natural fit for us being a reputable member of our community for as long as I can remember. It is simply the best way to buy and sell great cars. We have been looking for a marketing partner with both local and national appeal”. Following the meeting, a decision was made to submit the proposal to the corporate office and a response is expected to come some time in mid-January. As negotiations continue, staff from AutoTrader Publishing have visited two West Coast races with Bluebaugh Racing providing spectators and fellow racers with free copies of Auto Trader Magazines.

In anticipation of a possible marketing relationship in 2008, Fincel and Summers have offered Bluebaugh Racing an exclusive full page of advertising space on the back cover of Auto Trader’s Custom, Antique and Sports Car Trader in the Desert Region. The advertising space will be used by Bluebaugh Racing as a promotional team race page to attract sponsorship for the race team and new business for Auto Trader Publishing for the remainder of 2007. The first publication is set for release in Nevada the week before and during the Street Car Super Nationals III, which will be held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway November 1-4, 2007. Auto Trader Publishing will be in Las Vegas with Bluebaugh Racing and for the first time the Bluebaugh Racing Prostreet Monte Carlo will proudly carry the Auto Trader Publishing name for the racing event. The first group of participating sponsors in the marketing network will include Speed Scene Live, Hughes Performance, SI Valves, and Magna Fuel. Two spots have already been booked with Speed Scene Live, which will air October 30th and November 6th 2007 to hi-light Woodard’s marketing program for Bluebaugh Racing with Auto Trader Publishing and participating sponsors.

AutoTrader Publishing is a subsidiary of Cox Auto Trader, one of the world's leading providers of online and print automotive consumer information, and is the leading producer of classified automotive advertising publications with a total circulation of over 2 million per week. The World’s Fastest Organization, LLC is a marketing entity with interest in Bluebaugh Racing.
